Denki's Lore

Wet, Cold, a quiet mur mur as their vision is blurry. The sounds of scientists discussing among peers. Looking around their body was bound to a table as they saw their arm amputated. Someone notices them waking up and quickly subdues them again. A mask forced upon their face once more. It goes black.They can’t hear, can’t see, can’t even feel what's going on. A breeze wakes them up, their eyes in a haze as they open slowly. It's dark but they’re moving down quickly. In a free fall going down a long pipe. For only a moment a bright light appears before-Crashing into debris they were knocked out, body broken and in pieces. Laying there for days on end. No food, no water, with air so thick it engulfs you once it enters your system. The conditions have made their body completely numb. Dark corroded veins began to form where the arm was severed. With countless sun rises and settings they are unable to move. Completely starved of nutritions a long rest before they are finally able to rise. Tumbling over almost immediately both hands palms to the ground holding them from collapsing. A thick oil puddle in front of them, they see their reflection. Their eye has changed, once a rich emerald green has turned to a harsh scorched yellow with the veins surrounding the eye. Along with it the arm that was once cut off has now been replaced and regrown. A cold and rigid texture of what feels like scales, with a weird moist feel to it. The adrenaline slowly leaves their system and a sharp pain emerges from their lower back. Reaching out to feel Denki is greeted with a thick slimy tail. Almost as large as them, made of pure muscle it helps him stand.Finally coming to their feet, they look around. The area that surrounds him is desolate, dark, and not a place with many faces. Hearing nothing but groans and the sounds of things falling all around him. Looking up he sees large drains, tubes, and all kinds of pipes. A thick cloud of smog prevents him from seeing farther. This is the lowest level of society, one that isn’t meant for people to live in. An area where all the waste from the upper levels is dumped and left to be forgotten.Not knowing who he is or where he is, Denki’s determination to find answers is clear. To find a way up. To escape this horrid place and find out why is he here, why was he a test subject, who was he before all of this.
